Cruises are becoming more and more popular with families. However, some parents are opting out of cruises for more ?traditional? family vacations because of fears that there may not be enough appropriate entertainment or other children on board. Of course, not all cruises are family-friendly, but many cruise lines are now offering cruises especially for families.
What To Do?
Family-friendly cruises should have many different activities planned for children as well. Generally, they will be based on the ages and interests of the children booked. These activities may include pastimes like painting and crafts, learning projects designed to teach the children about the locations that they will be visiting, and time to talk and share with other kids. Most of these activities are designed to be done without parents so the adults will have ample time to do the things they would like to do.
Most family-friendly cruises will offer you the ability to take your kids into pools designed just for them. Or, there will be room for them to run and play. The locations that they stop at may also be fun filled for the kids on board.
If you want to be assured your children are well catered for, take a ride on the Disney Cruise Line.
Sailing with Mickey Mouse and his friends is always a fun for children. Disney goes beyond the call of duty to create magic for the entire family. The ship itself is designed with the Disney fan in mind, with a vibrantly colored ship and many of the favorite things associated with the Disney association.
There is a 15-foot statue of Goofy and Donald Duck on the front of the Disney Wonder, Disney’s second cruise liner. The Disney Wonder and the Disney Magic each offer a different ambiance, but is completely Disney-themed.
The shows performed are much like you would see at Disney World and the food on board is delicious, with incredible diversity, but still enough for those picky eaters. Without doubt, Disney Cruise Line creates a wonderful family cruise that is worth every dime.
When you are planning a family vacation with your children, make sure to book a trip that is full of the activities that your kids love. With the Disney Cruise Lines, you are going to find a wide range of activities offered to them but enough to keep you busy as well.

LASIK is an acronym for Laser In-Situ Keratomileusis. It has become enormously popular, because it?s:
? Painless
? Quick, and
? Effective.
What is LASIK?
It?s a type of eye surgery in which an extremely precise laser is used to modify the corneal surface so as to remove irregularities that have impaired your vision. The cornea is the front part of the eyeball, the white part around the iris.
? Near-sightedness (myopia)
? Far-sightedness (hyperopia)
? Astigmatism
It does not correct presbyopia, that need for reading glasses that overtakes all of us once we reach the age of 40 or 50. That?s because presbyopia treatments must deal with the stiffening lens and weakening eye muscles, rather than just modifying the corneal surface.
20/20 vision
This term refers to ?normal vision? and we?ve all heard the phrase, but what does it mean exactly? It?s a standard of visual acuity which eye doctors have arrived at over the decades, from looking at tens of thousands of pairs of eyes. The ?normal? person standing 20 ft. from the eye chart will see all the lines of letters clearly. This is the visual acuity of the majority of people. (In countries that use metric measurements, the distance is 6 meters, so it?s referred to as 6/6 vision.)
Examples
? If you stand 20 ft. from the chart but can only see what a ?normal? person can see from 60ft. away, you have 20/60 vision. If the normal person walks away to 100ft., he can?t see the chart as clearly, but if you see it that way standing at 20ft., you have 20/100 vision.
? The higher that second number is, the more myopic you are. If you have 20/200 vision, you?re classified as legally blind in the U.S.
? On the other hand, if the ?normal? person has to get up close, say 10ft. from the chart to see what you can see at 20ft., then you have superior 20/10 vision.
Correcting Myopia
When we?re myopic, we have corneas that are too steep. That means the light rays entering our eyes are refracted too sharply, and they come to a focus in front of the retina instead of on it. So we see a blurry image.
LASIK correction
The laser vaporizes tiny amounts of corneal tissue such that the cornea is made less steep. Then the light rays will focus on your retina and you?ll see clearly.
Correcting Hyperopia
In hyperopic vision, the cornea is too flat. So the light rays are refracted too little and come to a focus behind the retina. So again we see a blurry image.
LASIK correction
The laser vaporizes tiny pieces of corneal tissue such that the cornea is made more flat and the light rays can focus on the retina to give sharp vision.
Correcting Astigmatism
Astigmatism consists of small irregularities on the corneal surface, such that vision is uneven and has blurry areas. LASIK correction
The laser vaporizes tiny bits of corneal tissue such that irregularities are smoothed out and light rays can refract evenly towards the retina. That gives you clear eyesight.
Choose your LASIK eye surgeon carefully
Not all of us are good candidates for LASIK treatment. A thorough eye exam must be done to discover whether you?re a good candidate and not all eye surgery facilities want to take the time. Avoid those facilities that advertise low prices and try to process large numbers of patients, giving them little time and inferior service.
recommended auto insurance coverage -
Before you set a date to have your car shipped to its new location, either domestic or foreign, you should consider buying auto shipping insurance from the company you plan to use. Shipping insurance will protect your car in case of damage during transport or theft. Having extra insurance can offer you peace of mind while your car is in transit.
But not all auto shipping insurance policies are the same. Check with your shipping company to see if they offer a primary or excess insurance policy. A primary policy will cover damages to your car regardless of what your regular auto insurance will cover. An excess policy will only cover what your insurance company will not. Before purchasing either policy, be sure to call your auto insurance company to see what types of damages are covered under your current policy and then make a decision from there.
If you are transporting an antique or classic car, you may want to purchase extra insurance so that the car is covered completely. Buy enough coverage to cover the blue book value of the car. If possible, find an auto shipping company that specializes in shipping these types of vehicles. They usually use cargo units that are made to protect cars that are of greater value.
When shipping a car, you should take pictures of the car before it is loaded onto the truck. You should also conduct an inspection with the driver and write down previous body damage or scratches. This will help later on if you find new damage to the body of the car. Protecting your car begins by buying auto shipping insurance, but you will have to be proactive in making sure that you are able to file a claim and get the money you deserve if damage occurs during transit.
Choosing an auto transportation company may not seem too difficult, but you should get a few car shipping quotes and compare prices as well as service. Compare the cost of auto shipping insurance as well. This will save you money in the long run. Once you have chosen a company, make sure that you receive all paperwork and have the car inspected to make sure that it is running properly before shipping it.
After your car arrives at its destination, inspect the outside of the car to make sure that it is not damaged. File a claim immediately if you find damage to the body of the car. Depending on which policy you purchased, a primary or excess policy, you may have to contact your auto insurance company as well.
In most cases, your car will arrive in good condition. But by taking the proper precautions, such as buying auto shipping insurance and inspecting your car before the trip, you will be able to ensure that your car will be safe during transit.

I just returned from Walt Disney World. I was there 7 days/6 nights. I paid $1,304 for the whole trip including American Airlines non-stop business class ($220 RT) and Port Orleans French Quarter at $99 per night but this is just one of the hotels we stayed in. This story need to rewind back in the summer holiday this year(2006), me and my boy friend- Max packed up all the stuff and prepare the feeling to one of our dream destination- Disneyland in Florida. The very first we do that will net us hundreds of extra dollars in our vacation account to help purchase Disney World tickets, trinkets, and meals at Disney before we went to Disney is analyse some guide. Some money-saving tip alone can make enough money to pay for all our meals in the park for the entire week. Below are some of the strategies that me and my boyfriend applied to spend a economic price but having the same excitement.
Firstly, if you’re planning to stay on-site, and you don’t mind switching hotels twice, I highly recommend staying at a non-Disney hotel the first and last night of your visit. On the first morning when you wake up, you can check-in early at your hotel and get your park passes. The resort hotels will store your bags for you, or you can keep them with you. Your passes are good as soon as you pick them up, which means you can spend the day at the park of your choice and actually move in to your room when you are through playing. On the morning you check out of the resort, your passes are valid until midnight. You get one fuller day of playing, and then you rest up at your off-site hotel before heading home. I personally saved nearly $400 on a 7 day vacation with this tactic, and I didn’t lose any park time.
Secondly, you sure will buy some cold beverage during your time in the park especially if you are going in the summer time. My advice to you is avoided buying soda in the park. Get a 24 pack from the publics and pack a cooler. Just keep it in your locker. Also, your soda will not get hot, go into restaurants and ask for glasses of ice.
Thirdly, if you have decided to take the breakfast items from home then you must look at here because I had been told that milk was very expensive there. However, I found a GREAT alternative - there is ultra pasteurized milk called ‘Parmalat’. You can buy it at Wal-Mart which is located in the breakfast food walkway. The shelf life is 6 months unopened and 10 days after opening. It comes in square boxes that will lay flat and pack well. My boyfriend and I can tell the difference between the boxed and dairy case milk. The cost is $1.50 for 32 oz.
Fourth, we actually learned this one when we went to Disneyland. The water is horrible there, too! We filled our ice bucket the night before and accidentally let it melt. The water tasted much better than the tap water! Another night, we stayed at the Polynesian and we got our money’s worth from the food they serve at the lounge and then some. We ate breakfast there and several lunches and dinners. We aren’t big eaters, so it hit the spot. The cooks also made special treats for guests with special dietary needs. Plus, we could take all the bottled water we wanted. And we loaded up on the candy goodies and boxed cereal for the kids to snack on in the parks. Plus we had a great view of the Magic Kingdom from our balcony.
Fifth, Max and I really enjoy all of the sit-down restaurants at Walt Disney World, but they are way too expensive to eat at for all meals. To save money but still enjoy the dining experiences, we go to the local Wal-Mart and buy breakfast foods and individually packed snacks. We eat breakfast in our hotel and take the snacks to munch on during the day at the parks. Then we eat our “dinner” early, around 4:00 p.m. We still get the lunch price, usually, and because it is at an off-peak time, the restaurants usually aren’t as crowded as the peak time.
Sixth, almost everybody who visits Walt Disney World cannot resist buying souvenirs, so do I!!! But the reality is, it’s very pricy. However, I suggest to walk about 10 minutes away from Disney World, I forget which direction, is an outlet mall called ‘Belz’. It’s a huge outlet mall, and in it there are 2 Disney closeout character stores. The prices are low and some of the items are discontinued so buy, buy, buy and save, save, save… Moreover, another good place to buy Disney souvenirs that I recommend is the Flea Market just east of Old Town. We found many items that where a 1/3 of the cost that where being sold on Disney site.
Above are some of the guides that I used when I and Max were in Disney back in August. However, I personally do not think that all the ideas above are usable to all. These are only the strategy that I recommend, so please just read it as reference because it may show a different result for different people. Nonetheless, I really enjoy the time with my boyfriend there in Disneyland and hoping for another trip there during the summer time again next year! During the time this year toward the next, we will share our experience with our entire friends here. God bless to all the reader who come read until this phase and for those who going to Disneyland in the coming winter time, you may need some guidance from an ex-staff of Disneyland and ‘Best-Selling Writer’, you can check out the following link:

Just a simple girl who like to travel around with the most economic cost…
There are several LASIK benefits, which can be easily realized by going in for an experienced eye surgeon. It is necessary that you weigh the pros and cons before going in for an eye surgery. And much to your relief, as far as LASIK is concerned, the benefits far outweigh whatever minimal risk is involved. LASIK is by far the most preferred procedure when it comes to eye corrective surgery. LASIK benefits typically include:
- Clear natural vision - Need for glasses or contact lenses is eliminated - It simply widens the horizon for recreational opportunities - Quality of vision is better than that with glasses or contact lenses - Greater self-confidence - More career opportunities - Enhanced natural appearance - in many cases - No risk of infection or inflammation generally associated with contact lens overuse
The above are only a few major positives that come out of the LASIK procedure. LASIK has superlative scientific technology at its disposal. High-precision lasers, computer-controlled tracking devices, all enable the surgeon to perform the operation with ease and finesse. Furthermore, complication rates of a meager 1% to 5% strengthen the belief that LASIK is a completely safe procedure.
LASIK does not require the removal of the corneal surface tissue, and this substantially reduces the post-operative pain. In general, the visual acuity is restored within a day or two. Other procedures like PRK may require a week or so for sharpness of vision to be restored. LASIK surgery also possesses a greater stability. That is, the corrected vision lasts permanently, provided a complication does not arise during the procedure. Moreover, most patients are able to pass the driver’s license test without the aid of glasses or contact lenses.
If you are in quest for a corrective eye surgery, LASIK is sure to satisfy your needs. All you need to do is look for an eye surgeon who is highly skillful and qualified.
